Notes from Monday, the 13th of October

Further discussions on the normality of uniforms. The standard or normal colour of the uniforms used by the police, cabdrivers, security guards and school uniforms are navy blue or black. The dark colors are accociated to security, reliability and trust. What would happen if we used the colorful pattern to change details on the uniforms? We came to the conclusion that it is very easy to change something from being normal to abnormal with just a small detail or accessory. On the other hand, it is difficult to do the same with changing something abnormal to normal.

Modifying the object. Up to now, we have worked more along the lines of ImprovEverywhere, taking context into account and hacking the normality in that sense. Today, we also decided to work in an object-oriented manner as a second method, more along the lines of HackIkea.

Tutoring session. We asked some questions to our tutors Mariana and Sara. We were unclear about whether or not we have to choose just one space. They said it's good to work with more than one space like we do. So, we're cleared on that!
